Halleluiah Praise the Lord
“draw near to God and He will draw near to you.”

don’t you wish this were the rule for all single people pursuing the opposite sex?  you like a girl or guy, you pursue them, they pursue you back. . . wouldn’t that be nice?  but in reality, how often does that really happen?  maybe this model works for some, but for me, it definitely didn’t.  that “no” box just kept getting checked.  it amazes me that God is promising us that when we pursue Him, He will whole-heartedly pursue us back!  we didn’t choose Him, He chose us and gave us the whole desire to pursue Him in the first place, so we will never get a no when we humbly and sincerely draw near to God in worship, because He desires us all for Himself.  isn’t it romantic?
