lead us on
“if Your presence does not go with us, do not lead us up from here.”
Exodus 33:15

are we hungry to see God move or sadly content to simply read about how he is moving elsewhere?  moses had an amazing understanding of how desperate he was for the presence of God.  his credentials were incredible.  He was well educated, raised in the palace of pharaoh and yet, when he was backed up against the red sea, no amount of knowledge or princely stature could have waded him through.  and in the wilderness, all he could say was, “i’m not going anywhere without You.”  can we fathom or imagine how incredible our lives could be if God began to move through us simply because we would only go where He is?  we want to be at the top of the mountain of His glory . . . it’s incredible . . . and though the road is narrow and often uncomfortable, if He’s leading us, nothing can separate us from His love.
Lord we all agree / a bride bathed in your glorious splendor / that we need to see / the Spirit move in awesome wonder / that we need to find / the radiance that makes us lose our minds for YOU. . . for You / Lord we long to know You, / not just what we’ve read and heard but seen / glorious in ways we’d not believe / Lord this world’s in need of You, / in need of us to take You to them / we’re following Your lead / lead us on /Lord You’re on the move,/so move us so we move with You/ and climb the mountain of Your glory/ if you’re at the peak, / then give us strength not to stop ‘til we reach/ the radiance that makes us lose our minds for You . . . for You
